I have changed the name of my association to RVA Softball, LLC. I am still part of Central VA A.S.A. but for legal reasons, I had to have a new tax id number and name. My office will still produce the schedules, makeups and playoffs. All questions and concerns with schedules, makeups and the playoffs should be directed to my office. I will also handle all protests.
There are no nonresident fees in these leagues and thus your team can be made up with players in and out of Henrico County.
Due to the demand for softball fields, I will have limited fields and I can only take the number of teams I had last year. If you were a manager last year, you have priority over new teams if your entry fee is received by March 4, 2016. After this date, new teams will be granted the available spots on a first come basis. Teams will be given priority during the open period based on the date their application was received.
The leagues will start earlier this year as all of the school fields such as Short Pump, Pouncey Tract, Byrd and Moody will be turned back over to the schools on August 1, 2016.
Rule changes will be minimal. Please review the model league rules which will be posted on our website.
